The subject matter comprises of a tree and two skeletons seated as if in conversation. The artwork uses symbolic skeletons and distressed tree to evoke severe, life-altering effects of climate change on nature and humanity. The skeletons symbolize the ultimate consequence of ecological neglect, hinting at how climate stress can threaten life itself. The blue and red-orange skulls indicate different perspectives facing the aftermath of environmental degradation, urging awareness of climate inheritance. The skeletons have no feet or hands which shows their inability to take action, it is too late. The lone, vivid blue tree with exposed, blackened branches represents a damaged ecosystem where vegetation suffers from climate-induced stress. The chaotic streaked background signifies extreme weather paterns linked to climate change.

My name is MUTINDA FELIX MUSYOKA, a visual artist based in Nairobi, Kenya. I am a visual artist driven by the exploration of form, texture, and emotion. My practice moves between experimentation and intention, where each piece becomes a dialogue between material and meaning. Through layered compositions and thoughtful use of color, I seek to create work that invites reection and connection. My overall artistic style is more of textured art, and it explores themes like telling of narratives, emotions and nature. I enjoy every moment of creating art, from conception to completion and I believe people have to engage in art upto some level depending on their own personal interest, so it gives me great joy when people resonate well with my pieces.
