The two art teachers' associations have decided to organise a joint competition among teachers at schools. The first phase of the competition will focus on ideas and concepts for lesson plans, projects or small units in art education that address issues of globalisation. Both competitions will be advertised in the respective countries by the national associations until mid-February 2022. At a first stage, the submissions will be evaluated on the national level. The results will then be jointly reviewed and the best will be selected at a workshop in Bayreuth on February 25. The winners receive financial support to implement their concepts and to document their lessons. These reports will be published in a special issue of the journal BDK-INFO that will be presented at the EVC congress in Augsburg in October/November 2022.
