de Chiara Oiser VULNERABILITY DETECTED

Wood, laser cut, 12x12 cm and 6x12 cm

The submitted work deals with the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence. It focuses on the question of how close we get to technological systems and at what point closeness turns into vulnerability. A digital warning window serves as a visual metaphor for the moment when emotional connection is recognized and questioned.

The work navigates the tension between trust and dependence and refers to a society in which digital systems are increasingly becoming part of personal decisions. The work consists of two related laser-cut pieces and a textile implementation. The motif was implemented as a T-shirt print in a streetwear context. The fashion piece functions as a wearable image surface that places the motif in an everyday context. The front features only the typographic pop-up, which acts as a brief digital reference. The back shows the complete motif and expands on the image's message. The design deliberately uses restraint and contrast to attract attention without being flashy.

In the context of the exhibition, the work is intended as a quiet but critical examination of a world undergoing technological change. It addresses how digital systems influence not only structures, but also relationships, closeness, and responsibility. In a time of complex crises, the work invites viewers to consciously reflect on their own use of artificial intelligence.
