The University of Education Weingarten in Germany invites applications for its Artist & Art Educator in Residence program in autumn 2027!
We are looking for an artist and art educator interested in developing and leading a one-week workshop for students in art education. The residency offers the opportunity to work closely with a group of students, share artistic practices, and engage in creative exchange within our university community.
The workshop should encourage experimentation, dialogue, and collaborative learning. We welcome proposals from a wide range of artistic disciplines and approaches.
The residency includes:
- A three-week stay at PH Weingarten: two weeks of independent artistic work, one week of student workshop
- Accommodation provided by the University of Education Weingarten
- Access to university facilities and workshop spaces
- The opportunity to present the workshop outcomes in a public format, if appropriate

Eligibility
This project is open to anyone who is affiliated with a school, college, or institution and is also active in the arts.
