With over 20 years of experience as an arts educator and curriculum developer, Justine Watterson is deeply committed to arts education, craft skills training and the development of creative entrepreneurs. As the Director of the Imbali Visual Literacy Project she oversees the organisation’s activities, which encompass training creative art teachers and young craft art entrepreneurs. Justine co-authored the 'Adventuring into Art' Imbali Artbook series and is involved in various initiatives, including urban/rural creative exchanges with crafters and museum shop product development.
