The fourth lecture within the series of documenta speeches takes place tomorrow, Thursday, 25th of November, at 12:00 Central European Time. (Please check what time this is in your time zone.) ‍

 

This lecture will shed light on the specific role of art, design and culture in Ghana as it can be conceptionalized in the context of discourses around decolonisation. Patrique deGraft-Yankson, lecturer and Dean of the School of Creative Arts at the University of Education in Winneba, Ghana, has prepared this lecture with his colleague Osuanyi Quaicoo Essel, Senior Lecturer and Head of the Textiles and Fashion Education Department.


The session will be moderated by Nele von Kortzfleisch and Magdalena Kratzer.
