The project Exploring Visual Cultures is a joint transnational project run by universities, schools and art galeries / museums all over the world.

It is coordinated by a Steering Committee and by an Expert Panel.

 

Steering committee

The Steering Committee controls the organisation of EVC. It coordinates the different strands of the project and takes care of the financing.

The committee‘s members are:

The members of the steering committee will meet again in Nuremberg in July 2021 to discuss the state of the project and to organize further steps.

Expert Panel

The Expert Panel (EP) ensures the quality of processes and results by critically monitoring the project and providing scientific feedback on the contributions to the database (peer review). The panel consists of scholars in the field of art history, visual culture and cultural studies. Members of the EP are:
