The sixth lecture within the series of documenta speeches takes place on Thursday, 20th of Januray, at 12:00 Central European Time. (Please check what time this is in your time zone.) ‍

 

This lecture will shed light on the specific role of the arts and artists in Singapore dealing with inter-cultural conflicts on the one hand side and their relationship with the nation state on the other. Charlene Rajendran is a theatre educator, dramaturg and practitioner in Singapore, and Chee-Hoo Lum is a professor of music education at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.


The session will be moderated by Nicklas Hoffmann and Emma Göttgens.
